The Seas The Day Surf Festival is back at Kingscliff Beach on June 21–22, 2025, bringing together surf, wellness, and sisterhood for its biggest celebration yet!
As the world’s largest female surf festival, Seas The Day combines high-energy tag team comps with beachside entertainment, wellness workshops, and inspiring talks from legends like Layne Beachley and Shark Tank’s Janine Allis. This year’s lineup includes divisions across shortboard, longboard, juniors, even a mini shredders category welcoming women and girls of all ages and abilities.
With free surf lessons for beginners, and complimentary child minding for competing mums, inclusivity is at the heart of the event.

On land, festival-goers can dive into yoga, breathwork, ice baths, surf conditioning, creative workshops, and a powerful Indigenous surfers panel. Expect a buzzing beach vibe with live music, food trucks, art installations, and the return of the crowd-favourite Celebrity Surf Challenge.
General admission is free, but spots in the surf comp and wellness sessions are limited. Grab your board, your mates, and your sunscreen — this is a weekend of empowerment you don’t want to miss.
