New rules come into effect today for holiday-makers heading to Bali.
All international visitors will now be required to fill out a new All Indonesia declaration card.
The free document streamlines multiple forms travellers are usually required to complete to enter the popular holiday island.
“From 1 September, the new All Indonesia Arrival Card will be required for all international passengers arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, and Juanda International Airport in Surabaya,” the Australian government’s Smartraveller website states.
“This requirement will be extended to all international airports in Indonesia from 1 October.
“You can apply for the e-Visa on Arrival through the All Indonesia website after submitting your All Indonesia Arrival Card online, at least 48 hours before your travel to Indonesia”.
Once submitted, travellers will then receive a QR code to present on arrival.
