Australian Federal Police have confirmed no arrests have been made following the arrival of another cohort of so-called ISIS brides into Australia.
Four women and their children landed at Sydney International Airport, while two women and their children landed in Melbourne after leaving a camp in Syria last week.
The group was subject to a range of operational responses, including the searching of belongings and the downloading of their devices for investigative purposes.
While no one has been charged, police say investigations into the activities of Australians who travelled to Syria, including those who have since returned, are ongoing.
“Police and the JCTTs will continue to engage with relevant stakeholders to ensure community safety is upheld,” the AFP said.
“The safety of our communities remains a priority for all agencies”.
