One lucky Aussie is waking up a whopping $100 million richer this morning – but they don’t even know it!

Officials from The Lott have launched a major search for the winner, who held the only division one winning entry across the country in last night’s Powerball draw.

The lucky ticket wasn’t registered, so they have no way of contacting the new multi-millionaire who has started the day completely oblivious to their newfound fortune.

The only details that are known is that the winning entry was purchased in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

“Someone has become an overnight mid-week multi-millionaire but possibly doesn’t know it yet,” The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said.

“We can’t wait for them to discover this winning news! Just imagine how $100 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest.

“There are 100 million reasons why all Sydney players who had an entry in this week’s draw should check their ticket as soon as possible!”

In addition to the $100 million division one winner, there were 3,056,245 wins across divisions two to nine that collectively took home more than $60.9 million in prize money.

There were also 6 division two winners who each scored a cool $282,415.55.

The winning numbers in last night’s draw were 28, 10, 3, 16, 31, 14 and 21, while the all-important Powerball number was 6.
