Three people, including a 12-year-old girl, have been killed in a horror crash between two utilities near Kingaroy.
Police say initial investigations suggest a Dodge Ram collided with a Ford Ranger on the Bunya Highway at Taabinga just after 10pm.
The Dodge caught fire as a result of the collision, with the sole male occupant of the Ram dying at the scene.
The 44-year-old female driver of the Ranger and one of the passengers, a 12-year-old girl, were also killed.
While a 13-year-old girl also travelling in the Ranger was rushed to hospital in a serious but stable condition before later being airlifted to the Queensland Children’s Hospital.
The Highway remains closed with diversions in place while Forensic Crash Unit investigations are completed.
Anyone who may have been travelling in the area around the time of the crash and may have information is urged to contact police.
