One lucky Queenslander has woken as the country’s newest multi-millionaire after winning a share of Tuesday night’s $50 million Oz Lotto jackpot.
A West Australian player scored the other $25 million after holding the second division one winning entry.
However, the winning pair are still yet to discover the life-changing news.
The winning Queenslander purchased their entry online, but Matt Hart from The Lott said repeated attempts to phone the new multi-millionaire last night had failed.
“I was ready to confirm Oz Lotto’s newest division one winner straight after the results of tonight’s draw were known, but sadly whenever I called the number provided, it just rang out and went straight to message bank,” he said.
“If you see a number of missed calls on your phone, you could be the winner we’re trying to contact.
“You may not think it’s possible you’re the division one winner we’re searching for, but if you purchased an online entry into this week’s Oz Lotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!
In addition to the two division one winning entries, there were another 892,135 wins across divisions two to seven that collected more than $18.8 million in prizes.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1458 on Tuesday 25 January 2022 were 17, 31, 22, 11, 26, 36 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 16 and 6.
