A motorcyclist has died after colliding with a school bus near the New South Wales-Queensland border.
Emergency services were called to Numinbah Rd at Crystal Creek around 4pm on Wednesday.
Police report two motorcyclists were travelling eastbound when one of the riders allegedly crossed to the wrong side of the road.
The female rider collided with a bus heading in the other direction that contained 14 school children.
The woman in her 50s was treated at the scene by paramedics but died at the scene.
None of the children on board the bus was injured.
The bus driver was also uninjured but was taken for mandatory testing.
Tweed/Byron Police are investigating the crash.
