Police are investigating the discovery of a body in the Coomera River.
A woman was found unresponsive in the water near Brittany Drive at Oxenford around 1pm on Tuesday.
Emergency services arrived a short time later.
However, the woman was declared deceased at the scene.
The area has been cordoned off with forensic teams on site.
Investigations are continuing.
