An elderly man has been charged after allegedly touching several children through a school fence in Sydney’s west.
Detectives launched an investigation earlier this month after receiving reports several primary school students were allegedly inappropriately touched at a school in Forest Lodge.
Detectives were told an unknown elderly man allegedly touched several schoolgirls, aged between 8 and 9, through a school fence between Wednesday 3 September and Thursday 4 September.
Following investigations, police tracked down and arrested an 86-year-old man in Forest Lodge on Tuesday.
He was taken to Newtown Police Station and charged with three counts of sexually touch child under 10.
He was refused bail to appear in court this week.
