Millions of dollars worth of illegal tobacco and vape products have been seized in a raid on a Gold Coast warehouse.
Officials from the Therapeutic Goods Administration and Queensland Health swooped on the warehouse at Yatala on Wednesday.
A similar raid is understood to have been carried out at a premises in Logan.
Officers were seen loading the illegal products into boxes during the Yatala raid before they were loaded onto several trucks.
It’s believed the cigarettes and vapes were bound for tobacco and convenience stores across the Gold Coast and other parts of the southeast.
The raids are the latest in a major crackdown on illegal tobacco products and vapes across the state.
The TGA and Queensland Health has been contacted for comment.
