Masked trio on the run after brazen Gold Coast chemist robbery

A manhunt is underway after a Gold Coast chemist was targeted in an early morning smash and grab.

Three masked thieves used hammers to smash their way into the pharmacy on Cheltenham Drive in Robina around 2.30am on Wednesday.

Police say the trio, who were also wearing gloves, raided the business before getting away with a stash of pharmaceutical medication.

They then fled the scene in a black vehicle heading westbound along Robina Parkway.

Police are now appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
