Motorists are being warned of hefty delays on the M1 after a crash involving a wine truck.
Five vehicles, including the truck, collided in the northbound lanes of the motorway at Tanah Merah just before 6am on Thursday.
One person was trapped in one of the vehicles before eventually being freed by firefighters.
In total, paramedics assessed five people, with all escaping serious injury.
One person was taken to the PA Hospital in Brisbane in a stable condition.
As at 7.30am, two northbound lanes were still blocked as crews worked to clear the scene.
Delays stretch back to Ormeau.
