A jewellery store has been targeted in an overnight ram raid on the southern Gold Coast.
A ute was driven into The Pines shopping centre on KP McGrath Drive around 12.03am on Friday.
That vehicle then reversed into the Prouds jewellery store, where a quantity of jewellery was stolen.
The thieves then attempted to drive the vehicle out of the shopping centre but got stuck between a wall and a bollard.
The offenders then fled on foot.
A crime scene has been established as investigations continue.
Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam footage to contact them.
