The Gold Coast Suns are standing by two of their star players amid a video circulating online.

The footage shows Mac Andrew and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan walking out of an accessible toilet together.

The video is understood to have been filmed by a fan during last Wednesday’s State of Origin decider at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium.

The club has since investigated the incident and says the players deny any wrongdoing.

“The Gold Coast Suns are aware of vision circulating online involving two of its players,” the Suns said in a statement.

“Whilst there is no indication of any wrongdoing by either player in the vision, the club has spoken with both players who deny any insinuation of misconduct.”

Journalist Lauren Wood told Fox Footy’s Midweek Tackle the players had explained “the lines were particularly long for the men’s” and they “skipped those lines to avoid being hassled”.
