Police are investigating an alleged stabbing in Southport that has left a man in hospital.
Emergency services were called to North St around 10.45pm on Wednesday after reports of a serious assault.
A 26-year-old Broadbeach Waters man was found to have been injured with a bladed instrument.
He was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
His attacker remains on the run, however, it’s understood the pair are known to each other.
Police say investigations are continuing and it’s believed there is no ongoing threat to the public.
