Gold Coast Hospital Foundation Giving Day 2024

1029 Hot Tomato are thrilled to support the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation’s annual Giving Day on Wednesday May 15.

To get behind the cause, we’re broadcasting live from the Gold Coast University Hospital all day from 5:00am through to 7:00pm!

Kicking off with Galey & Emily Jade for breakfast, followed by Olivia and Christo for your workday, then Moyra & Big Trev for your drive home.

Gold Coast Hospital Foundation’s Annual Giving Day is a special day where for 12 hours only, from 8am to 8pm we bring the community together, helping us raise vital funds to ensure our local Gold Coasters have access to the best possible health care when they need it most.

So come down and join the team as we celebrate our Gold Coast community and encourage donations which will help fund vital medical equipment, life-saving medical research, and provide crucial support services, including cancer and renal patient transport and emergency accommodation for patients and families facing the heartache and stress of ill health.

Every donation received stays on the Gold Coast, supporting the health outcomes of our local community.

The impact of your donation:
• $50 – Can contribute toward urgently needed medical equipment to help save lives.
• $155 – Will provide one night emergency stay for the family of a loved one in critical care.
• $250 – Can help support life-saving research to achieve crucial medical breakthroughs.
• $500 – Covers the transport costs for a patient undergoing a vital course of chemotherapy.

Volunteer positions are also available to assist with the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation donation phone lines on the day.
