A major manhunt is underway following a terrifying home invasion in Logan this morning.
A group of five masked males armed with what appeared to be a firearm and pinch-bar forced their way into a property on Rhonda Street at Rochedale South around 2am.
Once inside, the group woke the five occupants including three adults and two teen juveniles and demanded cash and drugs.
A 33-year-old woman was then struck on the head with a firearm causing bruising and a laceration, while a 42-year-old man was struck on the right hand and leg with the pinch-bar causing superficial injuries.
The hooded thieves then stole a box of personal property including phones and other items, before fleeing.
Police are urging anyone with information, relevant CCTV or dash-camera footage to come forward as investigations continue.
