A teenage boy has been charged over an alleged stolen car chase through the Gold Coast and Logan.
The 15-year-old is accused of stealing a blue mustang from a home on Jessica Boulevard at Minyama around 11pm on April 24.
The vehicle was then spotted in Broadbeach Waters and other parts of the Gold Coast and Logan the following day.
PolAir was called in to help track the stolen Mustang, which was followed from the Gateway Motorway onto the Logan Motorway.
Around 7pm, police eventually deployed tyre spikes in Underwood where the car was brought to a stop and abandoned in a carpark off Kingston Road.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested a short time later at a Woodridge home and charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He was refused police bail to appear in the Beenleigh Children’s Court today.
Police say investigations are continuing into a number of other outstanding offenders.
