Car destroyed in suspicious blaze in Ashmore

A luxury car has caught fire in Ashmore with Police treating the blaze as suspicious.

Emergency services were called to Corunna Crescent around 1.20am on Thursday.

Officers found a blue BMW 320D well alight.

Fire crews extinguished the blaze a short time later, with the fire believed to have been deliberately lit.

Investigations into the incident are continuing.
