Break-in rampage leaves trail of destruction across northern Gold Coast

A manhunt is underway after several businesses were broken into in a destructive crime spree across the northern Gold Coast over the weekend.

The offenders allegedly struck at least four fast-food restaurants in Ormeau and Pimpama from 4am Saturday, causing a significant amount of damage.

Police say a nearby medical clinic was also broken into during the early morning chaos.

However, it’s not known at this stage whether anything was stolen from the businesses.

Investigations are continuing, with police appealing for anyone with information or footage to come forward.
