Police have launched a homicide investigation following the death of a three-month-old girl in Logan two years ago.
The girl was taken to Logan Hospital on November 8, 2024, before being transferred to the Queensland Children’s Hospital where she died a week later.
Initial information suggests the girl was at a residence on Lynd Rd in South Maclean before being taken to hospital.
Following extensive investigations, detectives from the Child Trauma and Sexual Crime Unit and Logan District Child Protection and Investigation Unit commenced Whiskey Brentwood.
Detectives have continued to examine all available information since the infant’s death, and encourage anyone who was on Lynd Road, South Maclean area at the time or who may have any information that can assist with the investigation to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing.
