A man has been charged after getting his vehicle stuck on light rail tracks in Surfers Paradise while allegedly drunk.
Police were called to the light rail line in the vicinity of Macintosh Island just before 3am on Monday, finding a grey Mitsubishi Challenger stuck.
The driver of the Mitsubishi exited his vehicle and left the scene.
Officers patrolled the area before locating the man about a kilometre away.
The man was taken back to a Police station but allegedly refused a breath test.
The 45-year-old Labrador man has since been charged with one count each of drink driving, driving without due care and attention, and failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.
He is scheduled to appear at Southport Magistrates Court on November 9.
