A number of roads across the Gold Coast have been impacted following big storms that have lashed the city overnight.
More than 200mm of rain fell in some areas of the Gold Coast leading to flash flooding and landslides.
A severe thunderstorm and flood warning for the city has since been canceled, however, some roads continue to be impacted by water and debris.
Latest list of road closures @ 4.00pm:
- Currumbin Creek Rd, Currumbin Valley near 1340 Currumbin Creek Rd
- Birds Rd, Guanaba at causeway adjacent to Maudsland Rd
- Tallebudgera Creek Road – From Len Dickfos Road to end of road
- Beechmont Rd, Numinbah Valley – debris on road
- Pine Creek Rd, Numinbah Valley/Springbrook, in vicinity of Gold Coast Springbrook Rd – down to one lane due to landslide.
- Lanes Rd, Wongawallan
- Mount Cougal Road – Between Tallebudgera Creek Rd & end
