Tram commuters are being warned of extensive disruptions over the next fortnight as works ramp up ahead of the opening of stage 3.
Tram services will not run on most evenings over the next two weeks, with commuters forced onto buses instead.
The shutdown is to allow for ongoing Stage 3 integration works.
From Monday to Friday this week, trams will not run from 6pm until last service.
Trams will run as normal on Saturday night (May 23), but will stop again at 6pm on Sunday night (May 24).
Next week, trains will not run beyond 6pm on Monday to Wednesday (May 25 to May 27), resuming as normal from Thursday morning and across the weekend.
But the network will be shut down one more time from 6pm on Sunday, May 31.
Buses will run to the regular tram timetable during these times, but commuters are being urged to allow extra travel time and plan ahead.
Replacement bus services will leave from each station’s designated bus stop.
G:Link has apologised for the inconvenience and is encouraging everyone to check the Translink app before travelling.
A date for the opening of Stage 3 has not been set, but it had been flagged for mid-2026.
