A man has been charged over an alleged assault in Logan.
Police were called to Haig St in Loganlea around 7.30pm on Thursday following reports of a disturbance.
A 57-year-old Loganlea man had allegedly threatened a 40-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman with a weapon.
Queensland Ambulance has confirmed the 40-year-old man suffered head and arm injuries in the incident and was taken to Princess Alexadnra Hospital in a stable condition.
The woman also suffered arm injuries and was taken to Logan Hospital for treatment.
The 57-year-old man also suffered arm and leg injuries and was transported to Logan Hospital.
He has since been charged with two counts of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm or transmit serious disease.
He is due to appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
