A man has been charged following a lengthy three-hour siege in Logan.
Police attended a home on Sylvia Street about 3.15pm on Sunday to make enquiries with the man at the property.
The 36-year-old allegedly barricaded himself inside, refusing to come out, with police making an emergency declaration at 4.15pm.
It forced several streets in the area into lockdown as officers continued to negotiate with the man.
He was eventually taken into custody around 6.30pm.
The man has since been charged with two counts of serious assault of a police officer in relation to the matter.
He is due to appear before Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
