A man has now been charged over a blaze that severely damaged a real estate business on the northern Gold Coast.
Emergency services were called to the business on Pimpama Jacobs Well Rd in Jacobs Well just after 10pm on Tuesday.
The blaze was extinguished a short time later before Police established a crime scene.
CCTV footage from the area allegedly showed a man attending the business before pouring accelerant near the entrance and setting it alight.
Officers arrested a man at a hotel in Hope Island around 10pm on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old Ormeau man has since been charged with one count of arson.
He is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court today.
