UPDATE | A man has been charged after a man died and two others were injured following a shooting at a property in the Tweed.
Emergency services were called to Tyalgum Rd in Eungella, about 10km west of Murwillumbah, at around 1.25pm on Wednesday, following reports of a shooting.
Two men had allegedly been shot by a third man who fled the scene with a fourth man.
A 41-year-old was treated on the scene by paramedics but died at the scene.
A 38-year-old man later sought treatment at hospital for a gunshot wound.
A short time later, Police were called to another incident on Tyalgum Rd where a 45-year-old man had allegedly been hit by a ute.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains under Police guard.
Multiple crime scenes were established, and a Police strike force was established.
Following inquiries, a 36-year-old man was located in bushland near Tumbulgum Rd with the assistance of the dog squad.
He was arrested and taken to Tweed Heads Police station, where he has since been charged with murder.
The man was refused bail to appear in the bail court today.
Investigations are continuing.

Emergency services were called to Tyalgum Road at Eungella, just near Murwillumbah, about 1.25pm (AEDT) following reports of a shooting.
It’s understood two men, aged 41 and 38, were shot by another man, who ran from the scene with a fourth man.
Paramedics treated the older man at the property for a gunshot wound, but he couldn’t be saved.
He is yet to be formally identified.
Police were then alerted to a second incident nearby where a 45-year-old man was allegedly hit by a car. He is being treated in hospital and remains under police guard.
The 38-year-old man involved in the initial shooting incident then turned up at a nearby hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.
Police are now waiting to speak with those men to try and figure out what happened.
A search is also underway for a fourth person, believed to be aged 37, who NSW Police believe can assist with their inquiries.
Part of Tyalgum Road remains closed off this afternoon as investigations continue.
