Manhunt for gunman after shot fired into car on Gold Coast

A manhunt is underway for a gunman accused of shooting at a car in a suspected road rage attack on the Gold Coast.

The driver of an Isuzu D-MAX allegedly fired a shot at a Ford Ranger along Bermuda Street in Mermaid Waters around 2.40pm on Friday.

It’s believed to have hit the door of the ute, but thankfully no one was injured.

The driver of the Isuzu fled the scene and remains on the run this morning.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or may have vision, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
