There’s been a major breakthrough in a four-year missing person’s case in Logan, with two people now charged with murder.
The 46-year-old man was reported missing from Beenleigh in March 2022, sparking a major investigation.
It led police to execute a search warrant at a property on Old Trafford Road at Bethania yesterday, where they alleged located human remains.
A crime-scene was established and detectives from the Logan Criminal Investigation Branch remain at the scene.
A 52-year-old Bethania man and a 45-year-old Windaroo woman have now each been charged with one count each of murder and interfere with a corpse.
Both are due to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are ongoing.
