Police probe after stolen car dumped in Gold Coast's Broadwater

Investigations are underway after a stolen car was dumped in the Broadwater.

Hollywell residents woke to the bizarre sight in their front yard before alerting police.

It’s understood the vehicle had been stolen from the nearby suburb of Coombabah in the early hours of Wednesday before it was discovered floating in the water.

It’s unclear when the car will be recovered.

Police are continuing to hunt those responsible.
