Police are investigating a late-night crash at Upper Coomera after the driver allegedly blew over the limit.
Emergency services were called to Old Coach Road around 7.15pm on Thursday following reports a Subaru Liberty had veered off the road and crashed.
The vehicle is believed to have ploughed into some vegetation before coming to a stop.
The 22-year-old man behind the wheel allegedly returned a positive roadside breath test at the scene.
He was transported to hospital for further assessment.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash remain ongoing as police work to determine the events leading up to the incident.
