A Gold Coast man has been hit with a string of charges following a major police operation targeting the alleged distribution of dangerous drugs across the Sunshine Coast.
Officers executed a search warrant at a Nambour property as part of Operation Yankee Fuji, uncovering drugs, cash and a firearm.
Police allege a search of a black Dodge RAM uncovered a semi-automatic handgun, ammunition, more than $40,000 in cash and more than 200 grams of methylamphetamine.
Investigators also seized a further $30,000 in cash, a commercial quantity of illicit tobacco and vapes, and cocaine from a property on the Gold Coast.

The 36-year-old Burleigh Waters man has been charged with 16 offences, including possessing and supplying dangerous drugs, weapons offences and possessing property suspected of being the proceeds of crime.
He also faces charges relating to ammunition, explosives, drug-related items and electronic information access.
The man has been remanded in custody and is due to reappear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on July 7.
Police say the investigation forms part of ongoing efforts to disrupt organised drug activity across South East Queensland.
