A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition following an alleged stabbing on the northern Gold Coast.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Girtin Circuit in Pimpama around 10.30pm on Thursday following reports a person had been stabbed.
Upon arrival they found a male in his teens with a wound to his abdomen.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital for further treatement.
A crime scene has since been declared at the property as investigations continue.
The alleged attacker remains on the run.
