A teenage boy has been charged after a Nerang business was targeted in an early morning smash and grab.
Police allege two people forced their way into the Lawrence Drive business on Monday morning at around 3am.
They smashed the front window before getting away with two electric bikes, a motorcycle helmet and a number of motorcycle jackets.
It’s understood the items stolen were worth over $20,000.
Following investigations, a 15-year-old Nerang boy was arrested yesterday.
The boy has been charged with one count each of enter premises and commit an indictable offence by break and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He is scheduled to appear at Southport Childrens’ Court at a later date.
Investigations continue.
