Firefighters are in action in Ashmore after the contents of a garbage truck caught alight.
It happened along Benowa Road near Slatyer Ave at around 9.30am.
The truck managed to pull into a carpark near the netball courts before having to dump its load.
Two fire crews raced to the scene to douse the flames, with a big cleanup getting underway.
No word yet on what sparked the blaze.
