Two people have been charged after being tracked driving dangerously in a stolen vehicle from the Gold Coast to Ipswich.

The white Toyota Hilux was spotted in Mudgeeraba around 12.30pm on Tuesday before being tracked by PolAir to the Logan area.

The vehicle had allegedly been stolen from a business at Brisbane Airport on April 27.

PolAir footage of the vehicle shows it being driven erratically, weaving in and out of traffic, narrowly missing other cars and trucks.

It is also seen driving in the emergency lane and on the shoulder of the road.

Officers successfully deployed tyre spikes at Meadowbank, however, the vehicle continued.

Sparks from the vehicle’s rims also started several small fires, which required fire crews to put out.
