A woman has been busted driving on a disqualified licence after hitting a pedestrian on the northern Gold Coast.
According to police, a gold Toyota Kluger was travelling along Pimpama Jacob Wells Road in Pimpama around 7pm on Thursday when it struck a man.
The 25-year-old local man thankfully managed to escape with minor injuries.
The driver, a 42-year-old woman from Upper Coomera, was issued a notice to appear for one count of driving a vehicle without a driver’s licence disqualified.
She is expected to appear at the Southport Magistrates Court on March 6.
Investigations are ongoing.
