A woman has been taken into custody after crashing into a set of traffic lights in Ashmore.
The accident happened at the intersection of Southport Nerang Rd and Currumburra Rd at around 4.30am on Wednesday.
The female driver was not seriously injured in the crash.
However, she was taken away by Police for mandatory testing.
Meantime, a person has ended up in hospital after a crash in Tugun.
Three cars collided on the Gold Coast Highway just after 8.30pm on Tuesday night.
One person was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with head and shoulder pain.
