A young motorcyclist has lost his life in a horror crash on the M1.
Emergency crews were called to the southbound lanes at Helensvale around 10.30pm on Sunday following reports of a serious crash.
Initial investigations suggest a white CFMOTO was travelling southbound when it crashed.
The rider of the motorbike, a 21-year-old Southport man, could not be saved and died at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit has now launched an investigation into what occurred.
They’re appealing for anyone who may have relevant information or dashcam footage to come forward.
