The Newcastle Knights are reportedly investigating an incident involving Kalyn Ponga, after footage emerged of him being kicked out of a toilet cubicle.
In the video, the star fullback can be seen walking out of the toilet behind teammate Kurt Mann.
The duo were escorted out by a security guard, who is audibly surprised to see Ponga emerge.
The clip shows both men quietly leaving the cubicle, each with a drink in their hand.
The two teammates are fully-clothed in the clip, with Ponga’s father, Andre, telling News Corp the duo were in the cubicle together due to illness.
“He made an exciting house purchase Saturday and celebrated with a few mates drinking,” he says.
“Sick in the toilet and his mate went in to help him.”
The four-second video, filmed on Snapchat, is captioned: “Ponga getting done in the toilet.”
It’s unknown who filmed, or released, the video.
It’s emerged shortly after Ponga ruled himself out for the remainder of the NRL season due to concussion.
