A little girl has allegedly been murdered in Bundaberg.
Police and emergency services were called to a residence on Regency Road in Moore Park Beach about 4.45pm on Monday.
The three-year-old girl was located unresponsive and declared deceased at the scene.
A crime scene was declared and a homicide investigation was launched.
A 32-year-old woman was taken into custody at the scene and has been charged with one count of murder.
“The child and woman are known to each other, however police are unable to provide anything further on the relationship at this stage,” a QPS statement reads.
“No further information is available at this time.”
The woman is expected to appear in the Bundaberg Magistrates Court today, May 27.
