Police are investigating the discovery of a body in Jack Evans Boat Harbour at Tweed Heads.
Officers were called to the harbour around 5.40pm on Monday, finding the body of a male.
The body is yet to be formally identified, but is believed to be a man in his 40s.
Police established a crime scene, with the Marine Area Command commencing investigations.
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
Investigations continue.
