A man is in a life-threatening condition after being struck by a car in Logan.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Chambers Flat Rd and Bourke St in Waterford West around 8.20pm on Thursday.
A pedestrian had reportedly been hit by a white Holden Colorado dual cab.
The 29-year-old Loganlea man suffered serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old Redland Bay man, left the scene before Police arrived.
However, he returned a short time later and is now assisting Police with inquiries.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating with Police urging anyone with information or relevant footage to contact them.
