Three juveniles have been taken into custody following a serious stolen car crash in Surfers Paradise.
The Toyota Prius, stolen from a home in Southport overnight, was travelling along Ferny Avenue around 11.30pm when it slammed into another vehicle before mounting a gutter.
The occupants inside the stolen car fled the scene on foot, sparking a major search.
The trio, a 12-year-old boy, 12-year-old girl and 13-year-old girl were taken into custody nearby a short time later.
Fortunately no one was injured during the incident.
Investigations are ongoing, with charges yet to be laid.
