The countdown is officially on for the return of one of the Gold Coast’s most spectacular events, with the first round of tickets to the 2026 Pacific Airshow going on sale today.

After a turbulent year, excitement is soaring as organisers prepare to bring the high-flying extravaganza back to Surfers Paradise next August.

The three-day event will once again transform the coastline into a world-class stage for jaw-dropping aerial displays, live entertainment and beachside festivities.

This year’s show was originally set to take place from August 15–17, but mother nature had other plans with severe beach erosion caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred forcing organisers to cancel the event in March.

Despite the setback, organisers say they never lost sight of bringing the beloved event back to the glitter strip.

After drawing a crowd of 270,000 spectators last year, they’ve vowed the 2026 show will be “bigger and better”.

“We’ve waited patiently, we’ve been working diligently with the city on the recovery efforts, and we are so excited to be announcing the Pacific Airshow for 2026,” Airshow director Kevin Elliott told Hot Tomato.
