Emergency crews are responding to a serious multi-vehicle crash on the M1 at Helensvale.
Four vehicles collided in the southbound lanes just before Exit 62 at around 4.15am, with the impact causing one of the car’s to flip onto it’s side and trap a person inside.
Firefighters are on scene working to cut the driver, believed to be a woman, free from the wreck.
It’s unclear at this stage if she is injured.
Two lanes are blocked to traffic, with motorists urged to expect delays.
