A man has died after a serious traffic incident on the M1.
Emergency services were called to the motorway near Exit 79 at Robina around 12.40pm on Tuesday.
A male had been located with serious injuries, however, he was declared deceased at the scene by paramedics.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the incident.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area with lengthy southbound delays that are expected to continue throughout the afternoon peak.
