Motorcyclist killed after crashing into tree

A motorcyclist has died after a horror crash at Numinbah

Emergency services were called to Numinbah Rd at around 11.00am on Sunday morning after reports that a motorcycle had left the roadway and crashed into a tree.

The 60-year-old male rider is understood to have been part of a group travelling towards Murwillumbah.

The man was treated on scene by paramedics before being rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.

However, the man died in hospital on Monday.

Police will now prepare a report for the Coroner.
