Gold Coast detectives have released vision of a man they’re looking for as they investigate a series of robberies in Pimpama.

Around 3.30am on Saturday, April 4, a man entered a bottle-shop on Pimpama Jacobs Well Road and attempted to steal a quantity of alcohol.

When confronted by staff, he threatened them with a bottle of wine before leaving the store empty handed.

Around 4pm on the same day, the same man entered an automotive supplies store, also on Pimpama Jacobs Well Road, where it is alleged he stole items including a hammer and spray paint.

A matter of minutes later he entered a nearby electronics store where he allegedly threatened staff with the hammer he had just stolen before stealing an e-battery.

The man then fled the area on an e-scooter.

Queensland Police are urging anyone who recognises the man, or who has information that could assist investigators, to come forward.
